SCI has immediate requirement for the following positions.
1. Position: Senior .Net Developer
Job Profile:
– Member of a development team writing software on .NET technologies
– Programming of applications using ASP.net, C#, AJAX, VB.net, Crystal Reports, SQL
– Reading UML Designs (Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc), and programming modules based on the same.
– Involvement in low level design from Functional Requirements Specs document may be required.
Candidate Profile:
MUST HAVES:
–> Expertise in ASP.net
–> Knowledge of AJAX
–> C# programming experience
–> At least 3 years experience on .NET development
–> Strong Fundamentals of OOP concepts
–> Sharp Analytical skills to proactively resolve Technical bottlenecks
–> Basic comprehension and expression skills
–> Basic SQL Database concepts and Stored Procedure Programming
–> Knowledge of deploying Web Based & Windows based Applications
–> Knowledge of IIS Configuration

2. Position: Junior .Net Developer

– Writing Stored Procedure and Triggers
– Creating Database
– Creating of Indexes
– Optimizing SQL Queries & SPs
– DB Maintenance
– Reading UML Designs (Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc)
Candidate Profile:
MUST HAVES:
–> Expertise in writing Stored Procedure and Triggers in MS SQL Server
–> Strong SQL database concepts
–> At least 2 years experience
–> Sharp Analytical skills to proactively resolve Technical bottlenecks
–> Basic comprehension and expression skills
NICE TO HAVES:
–> Knowledge of SQL Integration Services
–> Knowledge of ETL Process
–> Knowledge on Analysis Services
–> Basic knowledge of .NET Programming
–> Experience with UML Design tools
–> Knowledge of Basic Retail Industry Database structure
4. Position: Microstrategy Developer
Exp – 1 to 3 years
–> Preparing technical specification document based on Business Requirement.
–> Develop Microstrategy templates, attributes, facts, metrics, custom groups, prompts, and filters as needed
–> Develop Microstrategy reports, report services documents, Graphs.
–> Configuring and Customizing Distribution services
–> Troubleshoot server and project level configuration settings.
–> Monitor and enhance system performance by tuning the reports and configuring Microstrategy based on the requirement.
–> Basic knowledge of SQL is a must.
–> Participate in the testing process of the developed reports by comparing the MSTR SQL with the Warehouse
–> Nice to have experience in customizing MSTR web using MSTR SDK
5. Position: Project Lead
Candidate Profile:
MUST HAVES:
– Pro-active SOLUTION oriented attitude, with a “no excuses” approach.
– At least 5 yrs of IT experience, with at least one project engaged in the role of a Module Lead / Team Lead / Project Lead.
– Strong fundamentals on Technology issues, more specification on the Microsoft .NET framework and technologies.
– Experience on any UML tool, is a MUST
– Experience in MS-Project is essential
– Flexibility in Project Execution processes, using combination of Agile, Rapid Development and Structured Methodologies as an when required.
– Worked on projects on varied domains, to acquire FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS skills.
– Articulate, both verbally and written, to communicate with Indian / international clients.
– Leadership and team-building skills
– Meticulous planner, with eye for details, required for micro level schedule planning and tracking.
– Exposure to QA processes, including Test Plan and Test Case preparation
– Balanced thinker with good analytical skills to dissect problems into micro levels and thus solve issues.
– Ability to review Functional Specifications and do a low level design of modules
6. Position : Tech Lead
Job Description
• Own architectural design for full projects or a large module of a project, enforcing companies engineering excellence practices and drive high quality in all phases of development.
• Drive effort estimation for modules you will own and help create development plans
• Lead coding and integration testing for modules you own
• Drive design reviews and code reviews, mentor software engineers
• Coordinate activities and milestones among development teams to achieve the project goals on time
• Provide pre-sales support in doing technical research for client proposals, to enable sales team to respond to new leads
• Proactively keep a tab on emerging technologies, evangelize and lead adoption throughout the teams
Skills / Experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development with 2+ years leading development teams across SDLC
• Extensive experience in Microsoft technologies – ASP.NET, Web Services, C# or VB.NET, SQL
• Strong design, coding and debugging skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft design patterns, development best practices, application blocks, tools.
• Proficient in database schema (SPs/triggers) design, development and optimization.
• Should be able to estimate implementation efforts for small to mid-size projects and plan development tasks
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Should be confident, self-driven with a lot of initiative, and should have the energy to quickly ramp-up on upcoming technologies.
Technology requirements
• Technically solid in
